With Technology and Operations as the underpinning providers of capabilities on which we launch and operate our services, we are the central point of coordination across multiple stakeholders and 3rd parties to ensure we define and implement the end to end solutions to deliver the capabilities required by our business.This fully seasoned server/cloud professional provides installation, maintenance and support for systems used by the offices in the Asia Pacific Region. This includes monitoring and maintaining the computing and the infrastructure and may act as an auxiliary production support professional for a 24x7x365 news, entertainment, and broadcast environment. The individual may have a specific area of technical expertise in Cloud, Virtualization, Server & DB Administration and Technical Security, and demonstrate a propensity to learn and attain a basic mastery of the skills required to be an integrated member of the team that is responsible for all the areas mentioned above. Demonstrated skill and experience providing technical support in a broadcast infrastructure environment is required. Person must possess the ability to act in a highly independent fashion especially in emergency or "on call" scenarios.On top of this, the perfect candidate provides solid IT support for applications and IT hardware, using technical aptitude to grasp a problem, analyze it and determine a course of action to implement a solution. This may also require escalation of the problem to partner departments. Provide local assistance to infrastructure department in supporting local infrastructure. Hardware and software purchase, replacement and loan. Provide dedicated support for the executive Team in APAC including related PA´s.

Qualifications: ESSENTIAL DESIRABLEMinimum 4 years experiences in IT infrastructure in a fast paced challenging environment Demonstrated knowledge of and willingness to learn proprietary equipment and applicationIn depth knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines - Linux / Solaris / Virtualization/ MSSQL / Oracle DB Genuine interest in emerging technologies and practical applications.General understanding of the tenets of security policy, business continuity planning, documentation standards, and vendor management. Experience in project management and implementation.- Experience supporting mobile devices- Demonstrated hands-on experience in an environment supporting 300+ customers and using a central ticketing system and asset management system.- Experience in hardware support for all existing standard hardware such as PC´s or mobile devices. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware component failures such as hard disc failure and recovery, memory upgrades, printer maintenance kit installations etc.- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving software support requests. For example, applying software upgrades, installing software and drivers from new, resolving customer queries relating to software functionality, troubleshooting Operating System failures (Blue screens, memory errors, Stop codes) Software to include (list is not exhaustive):1.
