Duties: Turner Broadcasting is one of the nation's largest media companies, delivering programming and original sports, news, and entertainment content to audiences globally. This position is a key contributor to the continued success of the company and our clients. The primary purpose of the Traffic Coordinator position is to accurately traffic all Turner sold interactive campaigns with an emphasis on video, display and mobile advertising for the Turner Sports properties to help maximize revenue. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining and communicating technical specs to sales, clients and agencies, securing and testing campaign creative, accurately scheduling ads in ad server software and monitoring campaign performance. The Traffic Coordinator will aid in decision making regarding process improvement and play an important role in campaign optimization determinations. In addition, this position will carry a strong voice for Ad Ops with product and third party vendors as well as supporting day-to-day operational issues of Turner Sports Digital Ad Sales.

Qualifications: Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 1+ year of digital advertising / online media work experience with a varied skill set that includes: outstanding interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail within a fast-paced environment, excellent working knowledge of campaign management, optimizations and ad trafficking. Other qualifications include a College degree, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Knowledge of website basics (standard web terms, industry ad standards). Experience in a trafficking role, ad sales environment or experience with scheduling ads into an ad server (DoubleClick DFP, FreeWheel and Operative One preferred). Knowledge of Flash, Rich Media, DHTML, HTML5 etc., familiarity with online advertising principles and Internet technologies are a plus.

Job Responsibilities

-Must be willing to work flexible hours

-Rotational On-Call support

-Accurately schedule interactive advertising campaigns within DFP and FreeWheel.

-Effectively manage the trafficking, reporting and troubleshooting of flash, html, and third-party served ads.

-Collaborate with sales to optimize current campaigns, as well as applying that knowledge to highlight opportunities for prospective advertisers.

-Continually monitor campaigns to ensure scheduled delivery.

-Ensure all campaigns are properly tested prior to launch, including the functionality of the ad creatives, the experience for our users, and the adherence to ad specifications.

-Communicate and respond to requests from sales.

-Regularly prepare campaign and site-wide delivery reports for use by sales, clients, account management, and finance.

-Proactively investigate and escalate issues related to delivery, functionality, reporting or ad serving technology.

-Consistently strive to exceed client goals and revenue expectations, while also focusing on personal growth and building relationships within the company.

-Flexibility and willingness in handling other related tasks, when needed.
