EMEA is a key market for CNN International Commercial, and home to nearly 30 percent of Content Sales and Out of Home (OOH) global revenues for the network, as well as significant distribution revenues for CNN. The Senior Director, Content Sales & OOH EMEA will focus on leveraging the regions economic strength and potential to increase sales of CNN/Turner content and out of home products to publishers, broadcasters, digital signage organisations, hotels, airlines and brands. Reporting to the VP Content and Partnerships, the Senior Director will work closely with wider content sales teams, the Global Director of OOH business, Turner in country sales teams, CNN Editorial, the CNNI Head of Product, other regional Sales Heads to identify opportunities to grow the business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leadership of Content and Out of Home (OOH) sales initiatives across EMEA via the Content Sales team, the Turner Sales force, agents and self-initiative on large deals
  • Management of content sales/OOH teams in region including consultants, new business pipeline + current revenue management
  • Leadership in the Content and Partnerships Management team along with Head of Product team, other regional sales heads, and Editorial
  • Collaboration with CNNIC ad sales and digital teams in the development of sales in Brand publishing/Native content space

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in developing and closing commercial deals
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong financial forecasting skills
  • Knowledge of digital publishing, native content/brand publishing, and content syndication sales
  • Experience and contacts in European/African/Middle East media industry
  • Arabic or European languages a plus

  • Knowledge of CRM platforms like salesforce
